You may have some camera or scanner software that is not playing nice with the OS.... Kodak Easy Share software that is set to auto start can be a problem as well.

Try the following:

1.) If Kodak Easy Share software is installed configure it to start manually rather than automatically at start up. Reboot and see if proble is resolved.

2.) uninstall and reinstall camera software

3.) check for updated drivers for camera/scanner see if new driver resolves problem
