im 13 and whenever thunder is in the weather forcast i start crying. my Mom and even my thierapest tell me im being silly but i am really scared and cant get over it.

hang out with friends that are scared also and just have a sleep over during every thunderstorm

That is tough. My son has the same problem.

One thing we did this last summer was go out and stand in the rain while the thunder and lightening were happening. He seemed to realize it was just noisy and nothing to the really afraid of.

I like being up on a hill over looking a large expanse of land and watching the lightening. The thunder is not so loud since it is far away. It is interesting to watch the shapes of the lightening.

Don't worry, there is really nothing to be afraid of and eventually you'll get somewhat comfortable with it.

some human beings as in simple terms apprehensive of thunderstorms.. maximum phobias don't have a logical explanation or foundation.. 2 of my canines are apprehensive of thunder, the different 2 are no longer.. ( no longer which you're a canine ) i would not trouble approximately it too plenty except that's debilitating.. stumble on a impressive guy to hug you in the time of thunderstorms..
