why does my urine smell?

It makes my clothes smell bad and I am self contious, it goes away then comes back. I am not sexually active, I do not have a std, or uti, or yeast infection. What are the chances of having diabetes? I drink plenty of water during the day and I haven’t been eating anything like asparagus or anything out of the usual. This started about six months ago.

Pls see your dr about this. They will check to see if you have a hormone imbalance that could be causing this or something else.

Do you take a heavy protein diet? Urine smells probably due to that.
