I had a D & C on Monday due to a blighted ovum and I still have very bad cramps. They feel nothing like menstral cramps, it feels like someone has a really tight belt around my mid-section and keeps tightening it. Also feels like someone is pinching or pulling at my uterus. I hope it passes soon. It's sometimes unbearable.

I'm so sorry - I know how painful it is.

I miscarried on January 17th...and I think it really depends on several factors. A) how far along you were, B) the way the D&C was preformed etc.. I was 15 weeks along and had bad cramps for about week, then they'd tamper off. I was still having random, nonpainful cramps, up to a month later...then they'd come back from an hour or two...I just got my period this week, I had cramps as usual, but they weren't as severe as my pre-pregnancy cramps

Your uterus is having a serious adjustment period...Unless they are bothering you a lot, I wouldn't worry.

I hope my story helped you - I can tell you from the bottom of my heart, as time passes, it hurts less.

Best wishes!

Hi honey
approx 2 or 3 days, it is then like a normal period,

I'm very sorry for your loss, I've been through it myself and more than once,
The heavy feeling in your heart does ease once you conceive again I promise.
