My neighborhood is getting populated by "Pole Cats" in other words, Skunk.
Does anybody know of a humane way to repel them away from my house? The neighborhood skunk got my German Shepherd in the face (the first place the skunk attacks) and the smell is wreaking havoc by the upstairs pool and cabana.
HELP?!!!!!

Yes, I would make sure you have no compost piles in the yard, also make sure your garbage cans are secured so the skunks can not get in. While these are food supplies, you may also think about getting rid of nesting grounds (such as piles of sticks).
Then, go to Home Depot and get a bag of insect and grub killer, and spread this all over your turf. You may have to get more than one bag, read the instructions.
Once you've gotten rid of the skunk's food supply, they should start looking elsewhere.
