These are quotes of George W. Bush regarding the detention of terror suspects. There is proof that the United States has carried out torture. George W. Bush is either authorizing it or turning a blind eye. Either he is not preventing it.
So when George W. Bush explains that torture is "against our laws and values" who is he really representing?
