How should I end and edit my paper?
I need you guys to help me edit my paper and help me find a good ending to put on it. To Kill or Not to Kill
The big topic that has been discussed over and over is Abortion. People have many opinions on whether it is right or wrong. My opinion on abortion is that it is wrong and is killing millions of innocent unborn babies. Something that I was appalled by was that some of the pro-choice people say these unborn babies can not feel pain. It has been proven in the womb that babies can feel pain from abortion. This is also demonstrated in the movie “silent scream”. Babies in the womb can feel pain as early as 12 weeks ( Guernsey 12). In the Silent Scream it shows a real baby on an ultrasound being killed by an abortion. In those seconds before it happened you could see the babies’ arms flail and the heart start to beat faster. Those are signs that a living person is starting to panic. Then the baby will open its mouth in a silent scream of pain. That is there last scream of help

before there gone.
Some people say that the babies in the womb aren’t really “alive”. But really they start to live, grow and feel long before birth. The babies’ heart will start to beat before the end of the first month of pregnancy ( Guernsey 24). And all of there body systems are working by the time it has only been in the womb for two months (Lowenstein 46).
Many people say that abortion is a “last resort”. If they really are then why are 40% of all people that have abortions have them again ( Guernsey 12). Is this really a last resort or a form of birth control? It has also been proven that 1 out of 3 women that have abortions have it because someone else wanted them to ( Guernsey 17). So is this really the woman’s choice? Some pro-choice

people also say that woman should have a choice if they’ve been raped or the victim of incest. Yet only 1% of women have an abortion because of rape or incest. 70% of these women think it would be “Just another act of violence perpetrated against their bodies.”
There are also the emotion and physical factors to abortion which can last a lifetime. Most women are 6 times more likely to commit suicide after an abortion (Bachiochi 68). There regret is so deep within them. So often times they can’t bear to live with the fact that they killed there child.

For instance Jackie Bakkar who had an abortion said “Nobody told me about the pain I would feel deep within, causing nightmares and deep depressions.” 40 and 60% of women say they have negative emotional effects as a result of an abortion.
Some pro-choice people believe that an abortion would be safer then natural birth. But really it has been proven that if you have an abortion you will be 4 times more likely to die then from a natural birth. There are also over one hundred complications that can result. There are many short-term effects but there are also many long-term effects. 10% of women that have abortions suffer from complications. You also have a higher chance of getting breast cancer. The abortion won’t only be very painful for the baby but very painful for you too.

Hon, this is a good paper with great information. Please keep in mind that some people here are experiencing unresolved guilt over their own involvement in abortion. They tend to become angry at pro-lifers who are telling the truth, because their consciences are pricked (whether they admit it or not).

There are some grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors in your paper and also some places where you need to list your source. (I can give you sources for most of the information you mentioned.) I taught junior high English and would be glad to send you a corrected version of your paper if you would like, along with some other suggestions. However, the Yahoo Answers messaging system won't allow me to send something the length of your paper. If you'd like me to help, please send me your regular email address.

Hello abortion is legal. I am for abortion for many different reasons and even though i haven't had one if i did want one then i would not care what people like you think/thought.

I would have an abortion for the following reasons:
1)If i were raped
2)If the fetus had something horribly wrong with it and would only suffer a horrible life.
3)If my life were in danger and i was told i would die if i followed through with the pregnancy then i would abort because i would not want to leave my son motherless.
4)If i did not or could not handle another kid.

It is not your decision on why people have abortions. If you seem to think it is murder then how can you support the troops that kill people everyday? Abortion is a medical procedure not shooting someone in the head like the troops do.
It comes down to this:
My Body
My Sexuality
My Uterus
My Vagina
My Morals
My Life
My Choice
Not Yours

If it was a baby then they would not call it a fetus. A fetus is not a living, breathing human being until it is born and breathing on it's own.

How do you know what anything feels? Are you there asking i mean do you know for sure instead of other people saying so.

Your paper is a little politically swayed and doesn't give balance to both sides of the story...

You could end your paper with arguments from "the other side" about times when abortion IS the most plausible and humane of options. Without an angle of the benefits of the procedure in your paper, the title of your paper is misleading. Your title states TWO options and the desire to initiate opinion one way or the other. That's what I mean when I say you're only addressing one side of the issue.

It's a very strong and effective paper, but in the case of writing an essay, you have to remove personal opinion out of it to bring it to fruition regardless of what your personal beliefs are....remember, one person reading the paper might be vehemently opposed to abortion yet another might look at it more clinically.

To ensure getting the best grade, I would approach it from both sides of the spectrum.

Your paper sounds very good, it is strong , and holds a lot of information, which is backed up by facts, here is another fact.... in Roe vs. wade, the law that made abortion illegal, saying that she was raped, now confesses, that she was not really raped , and she is a very strong pro-life person!.. the law was made based on a lie! ending your essay, something like this ,might sound good ~~The most innocent people are being punished for our own irresponsible decisons, making life seem less important and less valuable, and then you wonder why the world takes life for granted, babies found in dumpsters, murder!but if that baby was killed 5 min. earlier in the womb,it would be legal, If the world was a better place , we would know the value of life , and we would know when the most innocent person of all, was being hurt.. Good Luck with your essay!!

a good ending- save a life don't kill an innocent person. my cousin had 3 abortions when she was a teen. then she got married later on in life she had 2 miscarriages and can't have a baby now due to medical reasons. she regrets all of her choices when it comes to abortions. she should've had the babies and gave them up for adoption instead of aborting them. i agree that decisions like that are hard to make but it will affect your life in the future. if people don't want kids or aren't ready for it they should use birth control or not have sex.

You might end by explaining how limited your reasoning abilities are and ask forgiveness for not researching your paper. Then you might explain why you think it is OK to kill 5 fully formed humans, and put them through the pain and suffering an adult person suffers. Because that is what happens, the effort used to raise an unwanted child could be used to save 5 wanted and loved humans. You could explain why you want to kill 5 to save 1.

In your paper you might invite a rapist to rape a friend and listen to the non-silent highly verbal screams of the woman being raped. (If you like the silent scream, just think how much you will enjoy hearing a friend scream in fear). Then you can listen again as she screams when she hears you have passed a law forcing her to give birth (her most precious gift of a baby) to the rapist's fetus. You may then want to invite friends over to listen as she places a gun to her head instead of letting you force her to give birth to a fetus she hates.
Then you may want to invite friends over to read the Bible and explain to them that even though nothing in the Bible is opposed to abortion, you believe that abortion is wrong. You may then want to explain why God aborts in miscarriage.
The odds are though that your IQ is so low, you will simply not understand the errors of your ways.

For those of you who decided to express your pro-choice opinions, that's not what she was asking for. She wants a conclusion to her essay. I do agree that you should show both sides of the story: it shows how strong your stand is. As for the
word 'fetus' that people so carelessly toss around, it is a Latin
term meaning 'baby'. Look in the dictionary.

Your paper shouldn't be named To Kill or Not to Kill. It should just be "Not to Kill" b/c you aren't fully explaining both sides...you are basing your paper on a pro-life campaign. And a conclusion usually consists of a brief overview of everything you've talked about.
