It depends on the type and brand:
Harley any 10,000 high 3,000 low
Honda CBR 30,000 high 10,000 low
Honda Gold wing 100,000 high 30,000 low
Suzuki GSXR 30,000 high 10,000 low
Suzuki RM125 3,000 high 500 low
The year is another factor to consider

Most bikes are broken in by about 4000 miles for sure. A chain can be driven around 25000 but then changed with f & r drives. Tires go 4000 for rear and 7000 for front. If the service int are kept then U may change cables, then maybe not. Depends on how bad U drop it also, and U will.
Personal care is what it's all about

My 1987 street legal dirt motorcycle has 22,870 miles on it and my mechanic has said he never saw its equal in the off-road only
2-wheel machines. Maybe it is because so many get trucked out
to the great outdoors like hunting dogs. I once had a five year old
with 400 miles because at the time I'd been trucking boats to
seashore more frequently than mountain biking.

Historically, air cooled m/c engines were burning oil at 10 to 12 thousand miles.Water cooled engines with low RPM engines tend to last to about 30 to 60 thousand miles. Their are those few acceptions that go 80 to 100 thousand miles. These pampered rides were well taken care of as far as maintenance.I personally know a Kawasaki Nomad rider , who road 100 thousand + miles before he traded it in on another one just like it.

BMW 50,000 is barely broken in, 60,000 is still considered low, 200,000 is time to start thinking of a major service, 500,000 is time to start thinking on getting rid of it as the styling is getting a bit dated.

Depends on the type of bike, such as 10.000 miles on a Harley is high, and 100,000 miles on a Honda is low.
