And I dont understand how anyone thinks that store is too expensive. I pay $10 for my shirts $40 for my jeans, and $20 for shorts...which is about what you would pay anyplace else. I just buy most of my cloths when they are on sale.

Because so many people are haters.
Like seriously if you don't like Hollister, keep it to yourself.
Some times the things may be expensive but who says we always go for the expensive stuff? Everyone has their own place where they like to shop and some people's is HOLLISTER like meee. lol, so stop the hating people =/ if you dont like it, i couldnt care less

It's just the image that the store projects, you know, rich little pretty surfer chick/ hot guy. . . and if you walk into Hollister, you can usually end up paying upwards of like $50 for just like a hoodie sweater. Most people don't have that type of money, and obviously have no way of knowing that you don't usually pay full price for your clothes. It's just how our society is -- always making unfounded inferences without any information to support it. (And hollister is still more expensive than a department store even on sale . . . you can get great jeans for under $25 even when they're not on sale in like a Macy's or Sears . . . ) :D

I totally agree. Its too expensive to buy most things when they arent on sale, but their sale prices are alot cheaper than places like kohl;s and dillards usually. Ive gotten shirts at Hollister for $5 before and my friend got jeans for $5 once. Ive gotten numerous things from thrift stores for really cheap too.

Well here is thing. You could get more for your money at a store like JCpenneys. The clothes there are still stylish but instead of getting 1 pair of jean for $40 you could buy 2. Get what I am saying? Plus people sometimes get annoyed by people who wear expensive clothes because they think it is just a status symbol and the person is showing off.

you've got way too much time and way too much money to spend. once you have a job that pays practically squat and go to college full time, than go to hollister! you'll realize that you won't have the $$$. why not spend $20 on jeans or $10-15 for shorts? girls like you are considered as snobs because you spend too much money on clothes. there's nothing wrong with shopping at kohl's

Because people that usually shop there are teenagers or younger & the people that they know & go to school with are immature so they get mad about stupid things...

the same reason that "hollister" girls pick on girls who shop at goodwill, or hot topic..

you learn when you grow up.. its not important..

if someone says something about what your wearing its cuzz they dont like what their wearing.. theres lots of other things you should worry your pretty head about.. like iraq, pollution, child abuse.. !!

Some girls just don't have a good sense of who to hate and who to not hate. If they hate you just for shopping there, don't be worried about them they're trying to get rid of their own personal problems by making yours.

ok i live in Europe and have never heard of this store but i have heard of this problem!! obviously there is a stereotype associated with this brand and now alot of people make the assumption that people who wear these clothes are bitches. Its pathetic, but it happens all over the world.
