Not likely simply because Bertuzzi wont have a chance to even play against the Aves this regular season. That and the fact that the Aves have struggled means there likely wont be a playoff matchup either. Truth is the rivalry hasnt been so heated the last couple of years with each team changing so many players, now the only thing that even keeps the rivalry talk going is the media who sometimes are desperate for a story they love to bring up things that happened 5 years ago. It is too bad in a way though that there arent the great rivalry games for the most part anymore, hockey seems to be missing that element with the screwy schedule they now have.

I am kind of hoping colorado avs fans willl get over the bertuzzi thing already. I mean its been 3 years, and no amount of booing him will change what happened, not that avs fans haven;t tried. So Bertuzzi is a jerk, so are half of professional athletes anymore. Oh, and any good avs fan will tell you we still hate detroit just as much as ever.

it's only a good rivalry if both teams are good.
I'd say YES if that was the current case. I say NO because Colorado is nowhere near as good as Detroit is this year. And Colorado isn't ever going to be good again until Theodore snaps out of it and they get some defense.

No thats behind everyone now. Except Steve Moore of course. Bertuzzi just needs to get back to playing hockey. He may not even end up playing this year....

doubtful, the wings and avs only play once more this season and bertuzzi won't be back before this sunday's game. maybe if they meet in the playoffs, but it won't be like the original rivalry in the late 90's

The only good thing Bertuzzi can do is die in a fire.

I don't know if he'll add fire...But, he'll definitely be like pouring gas on the existing flame.
