A person who sells houses is a real estate agent, licensed by the state. They may be, but are not necessarily, a Realtor. A Realtor is an agent who has joined the National Association of Realtors. A broker is an agent who has passed an advanced licensing exam and may open his/her own office. Otherwise an agent must work for a broker, either as employee or independent contractor.

The person who sell house is called Seller (usually the owner of the property) in a real estate transaction.

The person who help the Seller to adverise or help in the process of selling the property is called a realtor or real estate agent (broker).

It's either a Broker or a Real Estate Agent. And additionally, if they subscribe to the Code of Ethics as set forth by National Association of REALTORS, they'd also be REALTORS.
