Most babies, not ALL, are born with blue eyes. Sometime between birth and about six months, they eyes may change to a different color. This has to do with the protein melanin. Melanin is a brownish pigment that adds color to your hair, eyes, and skin. At the time babies are born, melanin hasn't yet been "deposited" in the eyes' iris. This is what makes the eyes appear blue.
It's not a certain thing, however - some babies are born with brown eyes, or grey eyes, or green eyes. This in no way affects their health or vision.

Most but not all. Think of it this way. Your blood is blue while its in your body and then it reaches oxygen and immediately turns red. Babies eyes and even skin are the same way, once oxygen has had time to make the rounds on your baby their eyes and skin color will change. But many babies are born with another color besides blue.

A lot of babies are born with blue eyes, depending on there genes I suppose but this does not mean thier eyes will stay blue, my sons changed from blue to to hazel brown within a couple of months.

Most white babies are born with blue eyes and most dark babies brown eyes. However your babies eye colour will generally change throughout the first year. Only after the first year will you know the true colour of your baby's eyes. After their first birthday they will not change again.
I have a mixed baby who was born with bright blue eyes. He is now 2 weeks old and already they are grey.
Hope this helps.

Not all babies are born with blue eyes. Caucasian babies are usually born with blue eyes and darker babies are usually born with brown eyes.

Brown eyes tend to predominate over blue, yet its no longer remarkable for a blue eyed individual and a brown eyed individual to have a blue eyed baby, relatively if the brown eyed be certain carried a blue gene from his/her mom and dad. Its the exception quite than the guideline in spite of the undeniable fact that. My 13 week previous son nonetheless has blue/gray eyes yet me and his dad the two have darkish hair and brown eyes - basically my different a million/2's father has blue eyes and my grandmother, everybody else has brown in the relatives, so we are waiting for his eyes to circulate brown.

No, I was born with dark brown eyes and I'm Caucasian so its not just hispanic babies that are born with brown eyes. It's rare but it can happen.
