Krakatoa is the correct English spelling. The Indonesian spelling is Krakatau and the Portuguese spelling is Krakatao. Information can be found at Wikipedia and from the USGS. Also go to the library at your school, or the city library, and see if you can find a search-able database of available professional papers and/or journal articles. Ask a librarian for help. :-)

Your spelling looks correct. Just pop into Wikapedia or some other encyclopedia. The volcano, in Indonesia, blew its top in a tremendous eruption in 1883. The tsunami killed over 36,000 people and the sound of the explosion was heard several thousand miles away.
