LEO SNAKE

Confident and proud, the Leonine Snake hates to come in second place. They fuel on kudos from others, but will become a bit obnoxious if it goes to their heads.

Leo THE LION - the sign of Generosity
Leo is expansive, loving the grand gesture and generally will have a sunny outlook on life. They can see the best in everyone and delight in being in the company of friends, family or anyone who can be an audience. They are natural performers and also have a strong creative urge too. They can be hard-working, inspiring and natural leaders, as long as they believe in their own magnificence.

Get More from Life
By surrounding yourself with positive people who can support you in times of self doubt.

Ideal Careers
Business management, law, actor, film director, artist, jeweller, dancer, playing Father Christmas, hair dresser, fund raiser, astrologer, youth worker.

Advice for Partners & Friends
A good idea - to be encouraging and praise your Lion.

Not so useful - to be negative and belittling.

We love you at your Best ...
When you roar, with laughter, preferably. You know how to have fun and put on a good show and will play to your audience, without showing if your hurting inside. You have an innocent belief that you will be treated like you treat others and know that when you laugh the world laughs with you. You want to make the world a happy place and will do what you can to make that happen. You have an innate sense of glamour and hate the idea of being penniless, particularly if it means you cannot afford to buy presents.

Creative, generous, enthusiastic, organized (if bothered), broad minded, expansive, dramatic.

.... Difficult to Live With!
Pride can get in the way and Leo's can sometimes cut off their nose to spite their face. There is a danger of attention seeking too, and the need to bring drama to a perfectly ordinary occasion. Leo's need space in every sense to express themselves and are really not at home with the idea of being modest or living in an understated way. Occasionally, Leos can be quite snobbish and arrogant.

Passionate, purring Leo is warm, cuddly and playful, yet fiercely protective of everyone and everything in her domain. She has a never-ending need to shine like the Sun, and so takes plenty of time to make herself look good, inside and out.....not to feed her vanity, but to be the best she can be for those who depend on her.

The pride Leo takes in herself is the gift she gives to the world. She strives to be a model of self-esteem, strength and confidence, as every queen should be. She loves children, playing, acting, games, animals, nature and all the world...and in doing so - she loves herself. The Leo sometimes allows her shimmering boldness to go to her head, and then - she can become the most glorious of entertainers!

Leo needs to share the tremendous sunlight in her soul. She thrives on praise, and suffers without it. She is a great manager, organizer and leader. People love to follow Leo because she is kind and generous. She understands teamwork and can work well under the command of another, but will maintain a constant ambition to be on top

Leo is a fierce, demonstrative, loving person who thrives on constant attention and kindness, yet needs the independence of spirit that recharges her and allows her to stay strong within herself. She strives to be a creative force in the world - through raising children, artistic performance, crafting and designing or leading others.

The Snake

Diplomatic and popular, the Snake has the sensual art of seduction down. This Sign is an interesting mix of gregariousness paired with introversion, intuitive reasoning paired with savvy business skills. Snakes are considered to be lucky with money and will generally have more than enough to live life to the fullest, regardless of how important it considers money to be; this may be due to the fact that Snakes tend to be rather tight with cash. They're not stingy, they're simply more mentally than physically active. Snakes tend to hang back a bit in order to analyse a situation before jumping into it. Their charming, seductive quality actually belies a rather retiring nature; this Sign is perfectly happy to spend the whole day curled up with a good book and, thus, can be mislabelled as being lazy.

The Snake is somewhat insecure deep down and tend to be a rather jealous, possessive lover, behaviour that can end up alienating loved ones. Despite these less-than-stellar tendencies, however, the Snake often proves irresistible and is a generous, loving partner. Slightly dangerous and disarmingly smart, the Snake's philosophical and intuitive mind generally supersedes logic in favour of feelings and instinct. Snakes will rely on their own gut reactions and intuitions before turning to others for suggestions. This makes this Sign a great hand in any business venture, possessing the caution and smarts needed to get ahead.

Snakes are hard workers (when they see good reason to be!) and are possessed of a keen intelligence. Snakes have incredible follow-through, once they get going, and they expect the same from others. Thus, their co-workers and employees had best stay on their toes, lest they anger the Snake and suffer its poisonous bite!

In general, of course, Snakes are generous and genteel, charming and appealing. Snakes must try to learn humility and to develop a stronger sense of self. Once Snakes realize that confidence comes from within, they will finally be comfortable in their own skin.

The most compatible match for a Snake is the Rooster or the Ox.

Ancient Chinese wisdom says a Snake in the house is a good omen because it means your family will not starve. This could be taken metaphorically to mean that a Snake could never have a problem with his family starving because he is such a great mediator, making him good at business. Or it could mean that a Snake would be willing to sacrifice his possessions, something the Snake has a lot of, in order to pay for his family’s food. Any way it is interpreted is representative of the Snake’s character and is a measure of the value he puts on his material wealth. The Snake is keen and cunning, quite intelligent and wise.
