is there a place that I can go to and kinda keep an online diary/journal that others can view if I chose for them to view it?

these are normally called "blogs" and yes you can get one. Try blogspot.com

i have a livejournal. you write whatever you want for free. and you can decide who you want to read it or make it private. you can add pictures too. it's great.
