Well I do not really have style but I would say I have a good body but i don't really show it off. My friends who show themselves off more always tell me to not wear such loose fitting, ugly, non stylish clothes but I don't know how to get style. Im in highschool and I guess the closest style to what I have would be preppy. Help I dont want look bad but I do not want to show myself off too much.

whatever you like to wear IS your style. Don't let other girls tell you that wearing tight fitting is better than not. You can be just as sexy by covering yourself.
If you like to wear baggy clothes, try wearing baggy jeans and a more fitted top. Or more fitted pants with a sweater or something. As long as you're comfortable that's all that matters.

So what? It's alright! Just be yourself. But if you feel like you do need to change a little bit, add something new to your clothes. Like throw in a headband, or layer some cute neckalaces. If you don't have much, you should spend a bit more on yourself! Just do what you feel seems right, adn fits you! If you really need some examples, maybe look through magazines or osmething, but just do what you feel like!!

.
YOU wear your clothes. . . don't have your clothes WEAR you.
.
If looser fitting clothes suits you . . . then wear that. If you want to explore and ' mix it up ' a bit and try some different styles...then try that.

Who you are is, in part, reflected in your style of clothes. If you want to wear what you are currently wearing...then do so.

If the topic of guys comes up in relation to clothes...then think about what type of guy you want to attract. I would think a guy who finds your own UNIQUE self to his liking to be the answer.

Could say more...but you get the idea.

I'm 50, so speaking from experience. Have three kids (son 14, and two daughters 17 and 20). My two daughters have always set their own pace and style that reflects them personally...Phoo on everyone else. And...actually everyone else respects and likes them.

Be true to your own self, stand in your power, play around and explore with clothes and find what speaks your own ' voice '.
.
Smiles to you.

Well try hittin up Pennys. Its hard to answer this question b/c got no idea what you look like. Also it be best you take someone that as style with you to the mall. Have him or her judge it. You got to get someone that is 100% honest and don't care if they hurt your feelings on how you really look in that outfit.

Style is subjective to what you are comfortable in. It is "your style". Wear what makes you feel good about yourself, regardless of whether it is stylish or not. But don't be afraid to try to things to see if you like them too. Do what feels right.

Sorry, just be yourself and be comfortable with how you look. Don't fall for peer group pressure. I promise you, most people with half a brain see straight through the "show ponies". Phony might be great in Hollywood but it doesn't cut in the real world except with extremely shallow morons!

Ignore your friends. Read, study, learn, have some fun. Get to know your teachers cause you will never have the same chance again to hear from so many people that really want you to do well. In the REAL world people will never be there to educate you on everything as opposed to shoot you down.

dude, you dont have to 'show your body off' to look stylish or have your own style. just go with something that expresses something about yourself and that you love, like a piece of art, but your wearing it. youll develop a unique sense of style thats all your own,
ps, tell your friends they arent helping!!

I'm guessing you mean you don't want to look scanky??
You can wear more fitted tops that still aren't 'revealing', you can't go wrong with a nice pair of jeans and some cute little t- shirts!!

I would be patient. I hear this all the time. I feel that if you are comfortable with what you are wearing then it don't matter what other people think. I am told all the time that I don't have style.
