Naw, there's no real link between their being distinct and any racism in Quebec. Some Quebecers admitted to racism in that survey, but they likely just answered more honestly than other Canadians.

It's quite a leap to say they're *promoting* racism. Canadians in Alberta, Nova Scotia or wherever act pretty much the same as Quebecers, when it comes to racism. And every province has clods (some of them academics) who badmouth multiculturalism.

To find a *serious* case of elevating one's culture, look south. Most U.S. people honestly believe that Americans are the best humans on the planet.

Canada is not promoting racism, but multiculturalism. The British and the French are both part of the same white Caucasian race! The problem is they are different ethnic groups and cultures.

Since I am in the USA, I can not speak for the correctness of their actions.

As soon as the beckers were allowed to keep french as their language, it made it easy for the next step, which is to promote their own ethnicity over others in Canada.

You'd be better off letting those buggers cede and form their own country.
