I know the feeling i'm in MN and it's suppose to snow alot and I want to go too! I guess it depends on how far along and that. I would think that it wouldn't hurt, as long as your aren't looking for black diamond hills or anything. I would really avoid any hills that have the compacted snow in case you slide off the sled it will be fluffy snow.

I went sledding at 7 months, just be careful! As long as it's not a big hill, and you won't go extremely fast. But needless to say, I went sledding over a month ago.....and my baby is doing great!

How could sledding hurt your baby?

If you are having a normal pregnancy I can't see how going sledding could pose a risk to your baby.

sledding itself wont hurt your baby but falling of could possible kill it. I would just make a small snowman or go down a verry small clear hill to be cautious. If you think you can with hold the temptation just play it safe and stay inside.

I think it could be a little dangerous to go sledding whilst pregnant, you could fall off or take a tumble which could harm your baby. I would check first with a doctor.

I asked my doctor about going on waterslides while I was pregnant and he said it was fine so I dont see where that would hurt the baby. We even bought a blow up six flags water slide and I went on that when I was pregnant and my baby is healthy and nothing happened just be careful!

That is a bad idea. Even if you don't hurt the baby... and you hurt yourself there isn't anything that they can do for you for the pain except Tylenol. That would suck big time if you broke arm or a leg.

If its a small hill and you wont go flying into anything or landing on your stomach, you should be fine. Otherwise, dont risk it.
