I've been homeschooled all my life and now I'm in 8th grade and trying to decide whether I should go to school or not. I visited a school recently and everybody was nice, so I've been thinking about going to school for the rest of the spring season. But, at home I can get my school done so much faster and be finished by noon. I want to go to school so I can meet more people, but I want to stay home so I have more time to myself.

Also, I can always just decide not to go anymore at the end of the spring season.

It depends.. Which would you rather have? Less time to have to do school work, or more schoolwork but with more friends- you have to decide. If I were you, I'd talk to my friends and see what they think. Are they homeschooled too, or do they go to a public school? Good luck deciding! Whatever you choose, you can always change your mind in the future. Hope this helps :)

If you want to have a future and go to a good college, it'd be a good idea to start in 8th grade just to settle in. That way, when you're in highschool, you'll already know everybody and have friends. From personal experience, I can tell you that going to highschool without any friends is terrible.
