You watch to much news. What makes you think that Republicans are miserable and angry Christians? If someone is telling you this then you should question why they would tell you this and then ask yourself, can all Republicans be miserable angry Christians?
Not all Republicans are Christians. Republicans come from all faiths.
Not all Republicans are miserable. Only the ones that have to face liberals all day.
I could ask why are all Liberals angry, gay, atheist? Now that would not be fair as well for the same reasons. My point is that when you listen to only one source of information, it is easy to stereo type groups. Then one group can gather with a common idea of why the other group is the way they are.
I know it is not just you, but you are among 30% of this divided country that is allowing the media to tell you what to think of the other 30%. The fate of this country extends beyond one party. Review the information and make your own decision on key topics. Then you just might say that you want to be part of the 40% that says there are nuts on both the far right and left and lets look towards the middle.

It's just you.
Angry miserable Christians don't have much to do with being a Republican.
Being a Republican means that you subscribe to certain principles such as: the government should provide for our defense and infrastructure and then stay out of our lives and let us be the best we can be.
Being a Christian means that you have received Christ as your Savior and walk in His joy and peace.
Sounds like you don't know much about either!!

Christians aren't miserable. In fact, those who have a strong religious faith have a better self image than those who don't. If you want to see hateful, go to any liberal blog and read what they've been saying about the Vice President the last couple of days. Talk about hateful.

Don't use general terms like All Republicans. I know Republicans that are'nt miserable. I know Republicans that are Jews and one that is a Muslim. They seem quite happy to me. I also know Democrats that are Christians yet are angry about Bush and what he is doing to our country. Be carefull with the generalizations, friend, they may jump back and bite you.

Republicans are not miserable, just mis-guided.
Many liberal Democrats and right-wing Republicans are miserable and irresponsible peole in their personal lives and they unfortunately take it out on others. If they can just achieve balance and control of their own lives, they would be happier and more rational and would then be able to work together for the greater common good of our society.

It's just you. Not all Republicans are Christians, and not all Christians are Republican. As a matter of fact, my husband is agnostic, and Republican. Two of our best friends are Wiccan and agnostic (respectively) and both are Republican. I am Christian, and not affiliated with EITHER major political party.
So much for stereotypes, eh?

Not me the ones I know seem to be very happy.
I don't hear the Republicans calling our troops:
terrorist, dumb, cold blooded murders, Nazis, etc
Now the Democrats want to run away from a problem.
Or maybe you are on this guys side.
