It's okay to have a car at FIVE years old.....
BUT, the law will not let you drive until you reach 16 or even later in some states.
Ownership is not a license to drive.

You didn't actually think a grown up was going to answer this question the way you wanted did you? No one is going to condone you breaking the law on here. You know driving without a license and underage is illegal also in may states if you are caught doing so you might not be allowed to get your license until your 21. And it doesn't matter if you have a car. You have private parts that doesn't mean its OK to have sex. You have a mouth that doesn't mean its OK to swear or lie. There is a reason the driving age is 16.

well its pretty much illigal for you to be out on public roads, as the legal driving age is 16...but i knew a girl who had a super long driveway, seriously it was so long it was more like a road, it was at least a mile and a half, and her dad gave her a car when she was about 11 and taught her how to drive it so she could drive down to the end of the driveway and back so she could get on and off the school bus. (the bus itself couldnt go down the driveway because of a few weird turns the bus was not capable of making because of its length) i think in cases like i just mentiond about the driveway its ok. her dad was very strict about it, and as he payed for the gas that went in it, he made sure she didnt go anywhere with it she wasnt supposed to. he checked the miliage and all that. under no circumstances should you be out on the road though unless you have a permit or a liscense.

It's only okay if you have a license or driving permit. Here in California I think you have to be at least 15 or 16 to drive? But I don't know where you live.

It depends what the law says where you live.
And, you'll need a driver's license and insurance.
Believe it or not, I think in Texas the legal driving age is 14.
