I would NOT. It destroys individuality.

Well, I HAVE to wear a uniform to my school. They are very uncomfortable, and they itch!! They are also ugly. Uniforms disable us teens to express ourselves. You get a sense of someone's personality by their clothing, but you can't if your wearing the same thing! I really wish we didn't have to wear them. The principal says the reason for the uniforms is because they "make us look like a more obedient school" Whatev! I HATE UNIFORMS. They don't make us look more educated, they make us look like brainwashed look- alike robots from planet NO PERSONALITY!

I had to wear one. These days, I think it's a good idea with so much emphasis on having the right brand name and up to the minute top or whatever. Not all parents can afford the latest fashions for their kids, so if they all wear the same uniform for school, it cuts down on snobbish bullying

Why: Because it creates less of a fashion competition and more of a focus on learning when children cannot compete because they all have to wear the same thing
Why not: Because it takes away the kids rights to express their unique styles and personalities through dress, and it's a pain.

Yes because no one can say my shirt is better or some stupid thing like that. schools dont have to worry about girls in short skirts that show their A S S . But then again I think it is important to be an individual and be able to express yourself through clothes, hair, and what ever else those wild kids where.

I'm not in school. It would be nice if my kids wore uniforms, then there would be less competition among the other kids.

I did. I did not mind it, and when I first graduated I actually missed it. Weird, huh? But to each their own. If it is required by the school, then wear it obviously.

I wouldnt, because a lot of people like to express themselves, and most people show that by clothes. They are also really boring, and uncomfortable.

I would if I were about 30 years younger. I would not because I'm 52.
