My best friend and i were talking today and he told me that he thinks he has lived before. He said he doesnt know if it is a memory or a memory from a dream. He did say he has never dreamt this before. basically he is somewhere during wartime (possibly world war one) he also thinks it could be germany. and he has feelings of pure fear and he is being chased by a group of what he thinks are soldiers. they corner him with guns pointing at him and speaking a foreign language which he doesnt recognise. then he has no memory beyond that. there are other minor details such as he is cautious of the white ground (which he thinks is snow). all advice appreciated.

Why do some people answers have to be so rude and uneducational? as a christain don't believe in past life, although I can not get the image of once living as a nomad in the desert. I have some kind of longing to go out there and see what life is like. I live in Ireland and I hate to much hate so I don't think I will ever go. But it bugs me at times I just can't explain it but I keep a open mind and if someone can prove past life then I will believe.

There may be many causes for such kinds of thoughts. Concluding that one has lived before does not seem like a good explanation to me.

Anything is possible.
I strongly believe in reincarnation, so to me, it doesn't seem odd at all that your friend had this dream, but like someone mentioned, it's harder now to determine if it's your own dream or a play off of a movie or TV.

If you're genuinely interested, I would suggest reading about it. There are many books providing scientific evidence of past lives, so don't listen to people who write it off as nonsense.

Read Depak Chopra's latest book, "Life after Death". He addresses this very question throughout the book. The most interesting part is when he talks about these children who say things to their parents like, "You aren't my real mommy. Where is my other mommy" Stuff like that. These children have vivid memories of other lives. It is fascinating...great read. I am a Buddhist, so I believe in reincarnation. However, to each his own.

I have had the same feeling but in a much older time. I felt like I was in medieval europe. I was in a small house or building and sitting by a rocking chair and everything was very quiet. the only sound was a fire crackling from outside. I think maybe the house was on fire.

I was on a train in the old west and I robbed the train and killed people without remorse.

We have a dilemma today, a few hundred years ago, if you had vivid images of another era, you couldn't right it off as something you saw on TV.

Simple...go have a past life reading. NOT a regression, but a reading.

I think reincarnation is impossible, but it could be that you've some how connected with the spirit of a dead relative.
