I had sex with my girlfriend a week ago(Tuesday). She said she was supposed to have her period this past Sunday (5 days later), but it hasn't started yet. We had sex Saturday night and there was a little blood afterwards, but since then all there has been is a little pink. She scared that she might be pregnant, because her period is pretty regular. She is a little stressed at work and over this and I was wondering if that could cause her period to be late? She took a pregnancy test last night and it was negative.

She says that she isn't feeling any early signs of pregnancy. She took another test this morning and it was negative.

She couldn't have gotten pregnant. That is to close to her period. There is only a 3 day window in which MOST women can get pregnant and that is 14 days from the first day of her last period. If she is stressed that can make you miss a period totally, it can make you miss them for even a couple months. Now if you had unprotected sex other times, then yes she could be pregnant. IF that was the only time, I would say 95% chance that it is a no. Be more careful next time.

well if she is stressed a little at work, and then started strssing about this too, it could make it late, and pregnancy tests like the one you used are never completely accuruate. It can take doctors up to 3-4 weeks into a pregnancy sometimes to get a positive reading on a prego test, and somtimes it has even taken an ultrasound to find out when prego tests repeatedly would fail yet the signs were all there. If she really worried, she should go see a doc, if/when she is 2 weeks late, and at the end of week 2 fails another store bought prego test. Just my opinion not my advice
But long answer made short, if you had sex, then yes there is a chance she could be pregnant, regardless of birth control

there is no way she can be pregnant in one week after having sex you have to wait 2 weeks after the day your period was due, so you have to be 2 weeks late in other words. if she hasn't come on now it must be from when you did it before Tuesday. but if the preg test was neg then she not and if from Tues night the preg test wouldn't show after 1 week of sex anyway. it could be stress related she should go to the Dr's they can do a blood test called beta HCG to see if she is pregnant this is a better way to do a preg test.

It might be stress but than again she could still be pregnant and just not showing up on the test yet. Give it another week or two and if no period than retest or go to the doctors for a blood test.

Too early to tell if she became pregnant from You having sex with her. Try waiting a week and have her take a home pregnancy test with the first pee of the morning.
Try to relax, everything can make a period late. Stress, health,diet...

Stress can definitely cause a late period. She should try hard not to worry about it and get another pregnancy test - unfortunately it won't give accurate resuls for another 2 weeks or so.

try one of the test that are supposed to work after a few days
the test might of given a false result because there hasn't been a big enough hormone change for a simple test to recognize it
go to you GP asap, they have very reliable results and they you can decide what you want done if she is pregnant, stressing out suggests she doesn't want a baby

I doubt that she is pregnant. If you had sex last week Tuesday and her period was due this past Sunday...nnnaaahhhhh! I really doubt that. Her period is probably late because of stress or other circumstances...just hang in there...

any time you have sex you run the risk of pregnancy but it would be entirely too early for her to tell. and if she is getting stressed out than that may be the problem. a lot of things can affect when you get it. stress is a big factor. tell her to just calm down and wait a little bit. if she is that worried she needs to go to the doctor.

Chances are she's not. Ovulation occurs approx 14 days after last period. Can only get pregnat within a few days of this. If her period was due only 5 days later I think you are in the clear. If you don't want children yet USE CONTRACEPTION.
