It came on the other day as i has driving and i had to pull over as my engine lost power and i couldn't accelerate. I had to turn the engine off and leave it 5mins and when i started the engine everything seemed ok. Im worried as I do alot of motorway driving if you see a lime green focus on the M3 thats me! I need help ford mechanic please!

such problems want be solved unless you take it to a garage and connect your car to a PC to know what made that light turn on you cant have he guessing game ahh it might be that no sorry pay more and I'll think it this blah blah blah dont get stuck in that

the glow plug ordinary flashing is a caution indicator, first verify glow plugs common problem also verify the brake lights artwork also use an similar caution equipment,also parts that are affordable crank shaft sensor and cam shaft sensor all the above faults will make the glow plug ordinary and flash.If none of those artwork stand bye the finest fault is the faster administration witch is often area of the faster and that i'll allow you to comprehend presently they don't look affordable.

Call the AA. I don't know anything about Diesel engines sorry... except they don't have spark plugs.

If your engine lost power and refused to accelerate I would consider it an urgent job to be looked at - you can do more damage to rest of mechanics if you don't deal with problem sooner rather than later.

i dont see how glow plug warning lampwill make you lose power, they are only on for a ltd time, when vehicle first starts, controlled by a rlay for timing ect, are there any other symptons? does it start o.k, sounds more like electrical fault to me, is the relay working correctly?
