If the land is high enough, there will be snow, even on the Equator. Ecuador has snow in some of the Andes' mountaintops. But these may be going. Mt. Kiliminjaro is in Tanzania on the southern border with Kenya. That mountain is famous for its snow. However, the snow is disappearing at an alarming rate, and in a couple of decades, we may see a snowless Kiliminjaro. If so, then since Kiliminjaro is the highest spot in Africa, we will not see snow elsewhere in equatorial Africa either. The cause of the disappearance of Kenyan and Tanzanian snow is deforestation of surrounding land, causing the humidity to drop. Global warming could also contribute to the melting of Kiliminjaro, but global warming affects tropical temperatures the least.

I believe so, there are some mountains higher than 15000 feet in Kenya, an altitude at which there will be snow. On Kilimanjaro, at just under 20,000 feet, there is year-round snow.

Yes, there is a mountain called Mt. Kilamanjaro, where it is over 20,000 feet. There, you can find snow.
It is the only mountain in the area, where Kenya houses.
