Anything that is not a letter does not get to me here in Central London, unless it's Special delivery. This unreliable service from Royal Mail has started back in November 2006. I have contacted them but all they say is to fill out a loss form to claim conpensation! The money is not the main issue, it's someone stealing the post! I have been living at the same address for 20 years and it's only now I am having this problem. Has anyone got any good ideas on how to deal with this issue? Royal Mail are useless!

Real empathise with you but in some ways you are fortunate as mine has been unreliable for years. It's outrageous, I've phoned, written, threatened but at the end of the day it is still the same. I also when passing in my car see postmen leaving their bags say at a corner of a street and only taking for a few houses, any one could take anything. The amount of incorrect mail I receive is just a joke. Is it really so hard to deliver to the correct address? A few years ago after the mail delivery here it was like something set in a suburban area on TV as the doors would open and the neighbours all exchange incorrectly delivered mail. One neighbour inadvertently opened anothers Bank Statement one time and she was so embarrassed. Hope you have better luck with Royal Mail than I have experienced.
