yes! i am a smart person and i wouldn't want others to think otherwise...its also kind of a pet peeve for me. =)

It's not stupid to care. It's stupid to look stupid. I don't want to come across looking like an idiot to the people I am communicating with just because I'm too lazy to run a spell check.

Yes! Why would I want the person I am communicating with think I am uneducated? A offer for a job? Church? A company wanting to do business with me. Its laziness at its best when you don't spell correctly on purpose!

absolutely. if spelling wasn't important, then it wouldn't be taught in grade school. there's no reason to have words misspelled on yahoo answers especially with the check spelling feature.

yes, I try very hard to spell correctly, , but I do have my monets that I don't care.(like note taking)
