Yeah, don't be crazy and insecure. Seems his perception is you are or will be those things.
Ask him why he thinks that way and really listen and take heed to what he says. He is an expert on how you look to him.
Once you have a handle on what crazy and insecure looks like, then make sure that is not you.

Accept that you probably ARE appearing crazy and insecure, and make sure he knows he's right! (It may be the only time in his married life he'll get the satisfaction of knowing he's right, anyhow! lol)
He'll be more understanding and supportive if you accept what you're going through rather than denying it. You can actually end up having a lot of fun and laughs together about it.
Perimenopause can start as early as 35, or much later. There's no "magic age" for menopause any more than there is for anything else.
Welcome to the wonderful, wacky world of midlife insanity...it's a great cover for doing all the things you've been to "mature" to do for the past 20 years!!

Your not crazy tho menopause can make you feel that way, for years i didn't know what was wrong with me mood swings tears everything but no hot sweats.
At 42 i went to see my doc had some blood teats done to find out i was in the middle of my menopause.
so go see your doc, there are some great things out there to help.
I was put on hormone treatment when you have the right one for YOU , its wonderful.
To all who believe menopause starts after 50 think again it can start at any age and change your whole personality.
I am now 55 menopause over with and feeling that life has been reborn, in fact i feel fitter healthy and better than i did in my 30's.
Good luck to you.

I thought the average age of menopause was like 53 or something like that...maybe you should see your doctor. That does not sound right.

You will have hot sweats and you won't be in the mood. Your husband will want to look for a replacement. But dont let him. Keep your love alive.

Go o your supplement store and get Vitex, black cohosh, Evening of Primrose oil...all kinds of supplements that they can tell you about...even some St. John's Wort if you can handle it. Yoga helps, too.
