It depends on two things: 1) his health and 2) how well he adjusts if his knee is never the same. Culpepper's game is centered around his mobility. He looked very uncomfortable in the pocket when he was in there this past season. Either his knee wasnt ready or the psychological effect of the injury got to him. Either way, he wasn't effective this year. But with their recent moves, I wonder how long he's going to be a Dolphin. The Dolphins have flirted with the possibility of releasing QB Joey Harrington. If they do, that leaves them with Culpepper and Cleo Lemon. There have been rumors that if Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn falls to the #9 slot where they are picking, they would seriously consider drafting him. Miami would be a better fit for him than any of the teams picking before them. So if they pull the trigger on that deal, they'll have Quinn, Culpepper and Lemon. It would be a matter of time before Quinn would be the starter. Hopefully they believe enough in their investment in Culpepper to stick with em. They knew this going in and they risked signing him anyway instead of Drew Brees. Their loss is the Saints gain.

They stronger extremely over the approach the top of very last season, and on paper, Culpepper seems to convey a a lot mandatory QB addition to Miami. yet overall, i imagine Culpepper's self belief and psyche were shaken because of undesirable play overall the previous couple of seasons, his harm very last season, and the entire sex-boat scandal. he will warfare with Miami, and the Dolphins will warfare besides.

They should stick a label on him: "NOT DOLPHIN SAFE"
That dude is DONE. The Dolphins should go after Jake Plummer if he's cut, or Jeff Garcia or someone much better than Culpepper.

If he's fully healthy and they have a decent O-line yeah (their O-line was crap this year).
To the guy who said he was never good:
in 5 seasons starting before his injuries, not a single year under 2500 pass. yards (one year 4700+, averaging 3720.8), 129TD to only 74 INT (1.74:1, which is very good), not a year below 7.0ypa.
And yes he does fumble alot, but do you forget how much Tiki Barber fumbled, and how little he did in the 2nd half of his career?. Daunte will prove himself if he can stay healthy

That's assuming he was ever good, which he wasn't. He'll put up gaudy numbers, but will lead the Carp to mediocrity or worse, making boneheaded decisions and fumbling to lose games, just like in Minnie...

not next year...he needs time to recover from the freefall he's gone through, and in 2 years he will be good again, but will never put up the numbers he put up in minnesota

Depends on how healed up he is with his knee injury. He's got all the talent to make it happen so it's really all on him now.
