I have my first car now, and my parents gave it to me. It's a Nissan Stanza 85'. It's an old car, no one has probably even heard of that car before, but I love it because it takes me from point A to B and it works pretty good.

lol, I have to say HONESTLY I said, "thanks dad?" He bought me a 1978 Chevy Celebrity (from an old couple) and he thought my favorite colors were pink and purple, well he had the shop mix both colors and there it is! Still can't tell what color is was..My friends called it the pink machine, others called it light purple.
Great question and.....gee, thanks dad (passed away 1 mo. later) it was 3 yrs. ago and I still have the car. Don't work but I hope to fix some day

1970 AMC Ambassador station wagon. It was a piece of crud. My dad bought a $200 car for $400 because it was from his boss.

Pontiac Phoenix... Dad co-signed the loan but I came up with the down money and made all the payments... It was a good car and it was also my first step into credit. Worked for me!!!

1996 Honda Civic EX with sunroof. Totally loved it b/c it handled well, cheap on gas, and totally fast. It was a graduation present from my Mom & Dad.

Mine was a 1974 VW super beetle, it was bright red! That car was awesome. I always got compliments on it. I looked cute driving it too! My parents bought it for me, but it was only like $1700...and YES, I did tell them thank you.
