I'm a beginner on this field, with no experiences. I plan on purchasing a 6 Channels RC Helicopter. Is this overkill for a beginner like me? What's the differrence btwn the 4 and 6 Channels Helicopters? Because the price on the 4 seems to be alot cheaper than the 6's. And would the 4 Channel be capable of doing flips or rolls?
Thank you very much

The number of channels is the amount of control you have. Each servo on your helicopter will use one channel. So you need a channel for up/down, left/right, rotate right/left, etc.

I'd go with the 6, just in case you want to add functionality later(ie. a winch, camera, etc.)

go for the 6. Find a club near your area and talk to the other pilots there. You will find that you can do more upgrades on your aircraft and still use (not having to buy) the same controller. Happy Flying!
