It could be more many reasons
1 lack of coolant
2 loose belt
3 incorrect timing
4 damaged radiator or dirt inside
5 leaking hoses
chek all these ideas if ok take it to a good mechanic

Could be also a stuck closed thermostat or a faulty water pump.

never ! my cars always running hot i just have alot of tricks up my sleeve to hide the fact .
