Love Rent!
Anyways, I'm not sure if this is the same genre that you like, but we have some common music interests, so I'll post what I listen to:

CD: Something Real - Meg & Dia
Songs I recommend: Monster, Cardigan Weather, Nineteen Stars
I love their songs. They are very real and don't come from a music company's butt.
CD: In Between Dreams - Jack Johnson
Songs I recommend: Never Know, Banana Pancakes, Sitting Waiting Wishing
I like to listen to this cd when I'm sad and need something to sing along to.
CD: UltraBlue - Utada Hikaru
Songs I recommend: Be My Last, Blue, Passion, One Night Magic
Japanese, so you may not like it at all. However, her music is awesome so you should give her a try.
CD: Alright, Still - Lily Allen
Songs I recommend: Alfie, Smile
Her music is funny and fun to sing along to.
CD: Chicago - Movie Soundtrack
Songs I recommend: Cell Block Tango, We Both Reached for the Gun
I love these songs so much.
Motion City Soundtrack
I've only heard a few of their songs, but I really like the ones I've heard.

if you like that music, check out Supertramp, they are somewhat similar to most of what you listed, and Gym Class heroes stole the chorus for one of their songs from the supertramp song "breakfast in America"
