What makes you think that being reborn again makes the evil in you go away? Catholics go to confession and it doesn't make them less evil when they commit a crime against humanity. The Jews have a high holy day called Yom Kippur which also acts to cleanse one's soul of all bad doings. Most religions give their followers a second chance, at times every week and at times once a year. I know several born again Christians who are as lousy today as they were before they become born again.

It's a funny thing with this particular brand of Christianity. As long as you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior (as President Bush did, when he was "born again"), you are allowed to commit every sin the Bible. And then some.

Yup, that's right. You can eat babies and God will still give you Eternal fortune, only because you accept Christ.

Why? Because Christ died for our (?!?) sins. That means that we can do whatever we want, in this life. Kills, murder, lie, steal. Whatever. Because Christ gave us a "get out of jail free card."

What people like Bush don't understand is that that this isn't what "He died for our sins" means. It's not an excuse.

You have a funny concept of sin. This of course from someone who probably claims that Bill Clinton was a great President. That alone speaks volumes.

The question you should be asking yourself is, can you be re-born again. Ever hear of, "judge not, least you be judged?"
Our president has done what he thinks is right, that's all anyone can do. I pity his family having to listen to people like you beating him up all the time. And not really knowing what the hell your talking about.

Well it depinds on your perception of religion and his perception. "Born Again" is only applicable for some religions.

How do we know if one could be reborn or not?

That is a question with an answer better left unsaid.

Perhaps you're not in a position to cast the first stone and determine who has sinned and who has not!
