NO, and I have done it for a business project. The trouble is, the people who aren't interested throw the flyer's to the ground, and than you have a mess! But all in all, it did turn out. Lots of hard work tho. Good luck!! Putting your flyer inside the store flyer's is better. The store may not like it, and may even ask you not to do it again, but.....Or sticking them inside the local paper, or Laundromats...

I have heard that you can be charged with tresspassing if you go to an apartment and put hangers on the doorknobs. I have no idea if that one is true though.

Some communities ban both of these activities because of the litter it produces. Also, you are going to lose some potential customers by doing these forms of advertising. A lot of people choose to go this way because it is cheaper than other forms of advertising. You get what you pay for.

Do you think its legal or even ok to walk up to someones car, and lift up their wiper blade? You can't touch something that's not yours. What if you broke their wiper blade? Now, will you get in trouble, in most areas probably not, because its been going on for years. As to a house, watch for no solicatation stickers/signs. Approaching someones house in the dark isn't a good thought either. Do you know who lives in there? Sex offender, Felon, etc. Just want you to think and use caution.

that depends on state/county/city ordinances.

In some places they ARE illegal.

Note... if you leave one that says "We have a free package" You MUST have something free to deliver.

Also, if you leave a flyer on my car or a door hanger. I will never visit your business.

No unless you have to cross a barrier/fense in which states "No tresspassing" or put it on a building stairwell in which states "No solicitation."
