You can see the seminal creature named as mermaids in several Florida rivers. Now, Sirens would be a different myth.

i want to be a mermaid. yet something is really not understandable. the legend of mermaids have been around for a really long time, it is not possible to see a person(well almost a person) not breathe air and not see or walk on land for such a long time.as much as how hard it is to let go of fairytales,i think they are real.
