There isn't anything wrong with it! If you want to wear it, you should! I wear what ever I want (including mini skirts), when ever and where ever I want! No one can tell us what to wear or not to wear! Have fun!

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. I can not believe what people are telling you. It would good, cool, and hot. But you would be hella sexy(if you have the body to rock it). the only ones who would say different are the hefty sow cows who could not wear it in ANY season with out looking stupid. Just get some knee-high or calf covering boots and you are the cutting edge of couture fashion. What is tacky is if you dumped the mini for a pair of jeans where you were either "muffin topping" with those "love handles" and a belly paunch, or having your thong show every time you sat or bent over. That.....would be tacky.

But you still have to go OUTSIDE at some point unless you work from home then in which case I would wonder why you would dress anyway!
If you're in school, it's fine. If you're at work, it's not appropriate.
If you have to drive a long distance to and from school or work, don't do it. I was once wearing a mini in the middle of winter when my car blew two tires and I was stuck out there in -10 degree weather in a mini!

it depends. if you're wearing boots with it, it looks more cute-preppy, while wearing opaque/colored leggings and a pair of ballet flats looks more fashionable 80s or retro. but if it's all by itself with just a pair of shoes, i'd say it would be a little tacky. and even if it's just inside all day, wherever you are, there are drafts and open windows. stay warm!

It's not necesarily tacky, just unappropriate for the weather.
A skirt that hits at the knee would be much classier and warmer.

maybe if u wore leg warmers or something b/c my friend wears mini skirts all the time in the winter and looks like a desperate cheap hooker which is hilarious b/c me and my other friends laugh at her with other ppl all day

No its not tacky, just make sure you wear some high boots if you can some that come up high on leg and some colored pantihose, they will keep your legs warm. Watch the movie 'Kinky Boots' you'll see what I mean.

yeah it is a little tacky. some people might get the impression of you being flashy. but it wouldnt be terrible if you wore some cute leggings and close toed shoes.

it's not tacky if worn with in one of these ways:
1. with a long scarf, matchin hat, and snow boots.
2. with tights, heels and a sweater,
3. (or my personal favorite) with stilletto heels, not any exotic color, a plain long sleeve, v-neck shirt, and a dressy scarf.
but if you asking this because one of your parents told you not to wear it, don't try and undermine them with fashion sense. it doesn't work.

Oh i was going to say it would just be cold.
I think it'd be ok if you have some thick tights and fuzzy boots... keep it wintry.
