My pc is randomly locking up!?

Question

My pc lately is locking up, a LOT! i'm not sure if it is power related, or irq sharing related, because I checking in device manager, and my videocard, sound,usb,nic are all on IRQ 11 for some strange alien reason! I have Win2k with ALL patches installed! how the heck do I get all this into the recommended irq's? I am a computer whiz, but now I'm stumped!

Have you checked for viruses, spyware and registry clutter? Made sure your hard drive is less than 70% full? Updated all your security software including your non-Microsoft firewall?

These are, of course, the basics, but it's often something so simple you haven't thought about it.
