Ladies, do you ever feel ashamed that you have not treated your man with the utmost respect and dignity since he is the sovereign of the household? Or are you pleased with your submissive and attentive behavior which is due him?

Well for one I am confused by your question. But...I will give it a shot anyway. It's the 21st century, so I'm prety sure men worth having a relationship with aren't going to expect that. And most of the time. The woman runs the show. Not that I necessarily agree with it...it's just the way it is.

I treat my hubby with the utmost respect because he deserves it. He is the ultimate gentleman and treats me like the queen of the world. There is no submissiveness in our relationship. We are equals, even though I do acknowledge him as head of the house!

Compared to EVERY wife I've talked to, I treat him like a king. He gets fresh muffins and cookies, plays video games when he wants, doesn't even have to eat his dinner at a table, and all the sex he wants. So I don't feel ashamed, just underappreciated. And maybe a bit of a doormat.

You sound like a very controlling person!!! My husband is NOT the lord of my home...GOD is! My husband does all the house work around here, I do what I can, as i'm disabled, I treat my husband like he is the last man on earth....my hubby treats me like a queen, yeah sometimes I don't deserve it but he is the world to me!

I am not ahsmed of anything. Since the day I met my man he hasn't had to lift a finger to do anything in the house. I cook, clean, do laundry, dishes, make his lunch every morning to take with him. I do it because I want him to feel loved and appreciated. When he gets home from work every day I want him to relax because I know he's been working hard all day to take care of me and my son.
Don't get me wrong, I work a regular job too, but I still feel that he should feel like a king when he gets home. He comes in and kisses me and I make his plate of dinner for him and get his drink and he can sit there and I'll bring it to him. I like doing these things for him and he appreciates it!

One time my fiance used all the icecubes and didn't refill the tray and I wanted to make iced tea, so I threw a banana at his head from across the room and actually left a lump...I didn't feel bad. It felt good, and guess what. There is always ice in the icetray now!!

Once again, join the 21 century. I have a feeling you aren't married of you'd have an idea that when they get married men suddenly lose their sovereignty.

What kind of BS is this? I am NOT the submissive one honey...get a grip.....sovereign? Who or what raised you? good grief....with a question as inflammatory as this, be careful...it might just come back to haunt you and bite your butt.

Have you ever had a date in your life? You are just too funny. No one can be this much of a control freak, and get by with it... I am a good girl, REALLY. And you blow me away with this stuff... Your thinking is oddly fascinatingly entertaining! WooHoo! Chill a lil......
