I had unprotected sex last night around 11:30 p.m. I then forgot to take my pill until 4:00 a.m. when I woke up to use the bathroom. That's approx. 4 hours later than I usually do. Do you think I'm OK? I take Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo.

You should be fine if youve been taking them like your supposed to being late once isnt going to affect that much I think you'll be ok

I take the same brand too. Everything is fine. It was only 4 hours. However, be sure to take the next pill at the regular time you usually take it.
Also, when you have your prescription filled, there's a paper that comes with your pills. It explains how to properly take the pill and has information on if you miss pills and the chance of pregnancy.

Yes, you're alright. However, if you're this paranoid about pregnancy, then I suggest that you don't have sex. Even the best forms of contraceptive can fail (pills are only about 95% effective under normal usage).

You should be fine. You have hormones surging through your body and one pill shouldn't be bad, especially since you took it late.
Anyway, I wouldn't worry yet. And good job on taking birth control!! So many people on Y!A don't and then wonder how they became pregnant.

Most doctors will tell you that this is ok...If you miss your period then you'll know for sure.
