Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer. Use that to download or rip your songs. Then you can create playlists of songs the way you want to hear them. Next plug in your iPod. You'll be able to select the playlists you want and it will sync with yor iPod.

it all depends on how you want to do it. If you want to pay download the latest version of Itunes. Then you can buy songs from there. They are .99 each. Or you can buy a CD. But you can also download Itunes and bearshare or limewire. I like bearshare better so i'm going to tell you how to do it from there.
-Downolad the song or songs you want
-Click on explore then click on the songs and right click on it and Itunes will appear as one of the choices. Do this for all the songs you want in your ipod.
-Then it will appear in your Itunes so then you plug your cordy thing don't remember the name and your songs will go into your ippod.
