This is a year long fundraiser that I have done with my sons school in Australia. Start this at the beginning of the school year. Every week you pick so many different classes to bring in two grocery items. For eg: Grade 1 could bring jam or different spreads. Grade 2 could bring in sugar or flour. Grade 3 could bring cake or biscuit mix in. Just pick a couple grades a week. You don't want parents to get sick of bringing items in every week. Swap the grades around every week and only ask for things that you haven't asked before. At the end of your school year you make hampers out of all the groceries and raffle them off. You could sell tickets for $1 - 2. Or have an auction. Do you have an end of school concert or something? You could hand out the prizes then. Put one of every item in the hamper. You will have heaps.

You can collect pennies. Everyone always wants to get rid of them. Even auctions can raise money. Pancake breakfasts or having a restaurant give all their tips waitressing to the fundraiser. Also selling chances to "pie" someone or something along those lines.

sell mirco fiber towels.
Buy them in Bulk for less than $2.50 ea and resell for $5 or $6 ea
They will individually package each one for you if you let them know it is for a fundraiser.
We packaged ours 2 per package and sold for $10...
You can sell more for less effort this way.
