This morning I was getting ready for school and reached back behind my head. All of a sudden, I felt a sharp pain next to my left shoulder and hunched over in pain. Now every time i turn a certain way, my muscle hurts. Is there any way I can make it feel better without medicine?

Try a heating pad & stretch slowly. Usually it just takes time to work it out. If you have someone to ask for a massage it might help as well.

You may have to go to the doctor and get a muscle relaxant. That's what I had to do when I wrenched my back out (and I'm 22).

ALSO, ask this question somewhere other than TV section, or you'll get weird answers!

Ice it for the first 24 hours and then heat. Also, do some light stretching
