To me, it resembles the more ancient Istanbul. Is there any specific city that inspired it's setting?

The fictional city of Aghrabah. In the movie, it seemed like Agrabah was in Saudi Arabia, from all the deserts and all the Muslim people.

The film is set in the mystical city of Agrabah, but the book was set in an ancient city in China.

I would like to say Agrabah like the rest, but it was actually set in a studio with a bunch of artists. They drew all of the background pictures thereselves. Pretty cool!!!

Agrabah (which I belive is a fictional city), but the look of the city makes me think of India.
