long term sick here, bit crap making me travel for an hour to get the boot

They need to see you in person to make it legal plus you'll have to sign papers...Its too bad mean thing to do when you're sick

Buck up! Show them the same respect that they showed you when you were hired by them. This is the very least you owe them. It will be a reunion that you will not regret. Take parting sentiments with you to give to coworkers and supervisors. Have a cry when the mood strikes you.You will be better for it.

Dude, quit before they can do it! Dont give them the satisfaction. One time I was fired as soon as I came to work. I didnt even get to put my coat down. They could have fired me the day before!!! I was only 18, I had to walk home!

That sounds about right. Sue them for the pain and suffer you experience during the ride to and from the office, lol.

don't go. What are they going to do, fire you? Great...you can earn unemployment! And, they can't hold your check. They have to give it to you on the day you are being paid! Stay home!
