There are good ones, and there are ones that don't transfer. If you are planning on transferring to a University after wards make sure you get credits that will transfer and do your research.

Community college, whether on the East Coast or not are not looked down upon because they're reputable learning institutions. But your schools like University of Phoenix Online are.

Depends on what you want to do. Also depends on the college. Some have guaranteed transfer to a particular University if your grades stay above a threshold.

No I do not think so. I think they are good. They offer a good education. You can always transfer later.
