Have you put them on? DO you have low profile tires? Do they rub against the fenderwell when you turn your wheels? I dont think they will necessarily mess up your transmission or suspension but there are some things you have to be careful about. Due to the size of these wheels and tires, they are much heavier than your stock wheels therefore, the suspension is not designed to handle this weight. This could affect the travel and feedback from going over bumps etc in the road. Your spring rate was designed with your 16inch stock wheels in mind. As far as your transmission, you will probably notice that your car doesn't have the same pick up and go during acceleration. This is also because of the added weight. It will cause your engine to work harder. Another thing you should know is that your speedometer will not be accurate due to the circumference of the larger wheels. But do not worry, your car should not break down over night because of the wheels. Good luck!

they'd extra healthful, yet your vehicle will be destroyed interior the approach. This has distinctive impacts on each thing of the drivability of your vehicle from the more suitable quantity of work your brakes would ought to do to the more suitable load on your suspension to the wheel bearings, the cost of tires, your caster and camber will be off, donning your tires seriously, your speedometer and odometer will be off, your gasoline mileage will pass down, your performance and coping with will be negatively effected by the higher unsprung weight of the wheels, and maximum seriously, your vehicle will look stupid. Why would you be prepared to sacrafice the drivability and safe practices of your vehicle so that you'll look "cool?" it really is a 2000 Impala, for Christ's sake, no count number what you do to it, it really is in simple terms no longer cool. Why no longer secure your vehicle correct and act like an individual so that you may have a sturdy vehicle for your self?

If your suspension has been upgraded to accomadate that change..no problem..upgrade your brakes...back in the days, old folks used to fuss over mag wheels replacing hubcaps and dudes jacking their cars up in the back or making lowriders....make sure your undercarriage is tight..invest in air ride suspension ....learn the facts about automotive technology ..not the myths but the truth is, 20's are'nt made for speed...you drive that car at 2 mph ..so everybody sees you.
