The computer game that I have installed is stating "buffer overrun detected." Would someone please tell me what this means and what I should do to get the game to work? Thank You!

Basically, anytime more that 10 bits of info is processed at the same time, the computer determines that it is being attacked. It automatically defends itself by not completing the attempted function, such as installing of a game.

Depending on the game, this might work. Explore the game CD/DVD, select all, copy the files into a new folder somewhere on your hard drive. Try running the setup.exe or the likes from the new location.
