My gf has this feeling of like pressure on the bottom of her right ribcage. There are visible signs of what could be causing it. It's not a pain, but a pressure feeling that she's been feeling in that particular spot for a week now. She feels it the most when she is sitting down (during class). The feeling is on the surface, doesnt seem to be inside like any internal organs. Any idea what it could be?

And she has been feeling around and there are no lumps, swollen lymph nodes, sign of bruises or anything. Perhaps its gas, or maybe a bruised bone or something. I dont know.

Oopps....there was a mistake in what I wrote. I meant to say that there are NO visible signs of what could be causing that pressure.

If she has other symptoms, like pain or digestive problems, it could be the gallbladder. I had gallstones and before the gallstone attacks, I sometimes felt an odd pressure on the right side below the ribs.

If she has no pain or digestive problems, there's probably nothing wrong but she should ask her doctor at her next visit.

What are the indicators of your chilly? Is it a hazard it could desire to be mono (epstein barr virus)? in case you're experiencing fatigue, swollen glands, or a sore throat this could properly be a hazard. the reason I elevate mono is using the fact, each and every now and then, it could reason an growth of the spleen. It oftentimes isn't something too intense...the well being practitioner will basically ask you to take it undemanding for a mutually as. So if this discomfort does not bypass away, or gets worse, i could make an appointment to confirm your well being practitioner! BTW- there are lots of alternative motives. i replaced into basically telling you one hazard. better of success!

It may just be that she slept the wrong way or that she bumped it while doing something. The muscle around it may just be strained. A doctor cannot really do much as far as treating it. She can take Advil to numb the pain for now. If it continues for more than a week I would see a doctor.

She could have a broken or fractured rib. My boyfriend had a broken rib not long ago with no visible signs of it. And it took a couple of x-rays to find the break.

She just needs to fart. She's probably been holding it in for your benefit, but she needs to relax and just let it rip. If you love her, you won't mind the stench.
